Preys on children - Situation reversed past quality customer service
Across appalling. Our child went and bought a phone with his GoHenry cash card. Inside 30 minutes I returned him to the store to render the phone as he owed money and did not have the funds for the purchase. Brick wall at cash converters quoting a no refunds policy. I pointed out this was a kid under xvi making bad choices and was once over again told company policy included minors. Asked to speak to the manager who refused to come out and then I had to go to the back of the store to him. Not only did he refuse to refund a minor, he refused to requite me his name and when pushed came upwards with 'David' and said he didn't have to reveal his identify so I could take the matter further. He refused to requite details of the escalation process and denied having any information on caput office. When I incredulously said are you seriously refusing to requite me company details he said no I could Google information technology and snidely added 'that'due south Google with two Bone'. I advised him not to become smart with me and he said he'd telephone call the police force!!! This is how cash converters treats children - preys on their vulnerability and young decision making. Keep your children abroad. Zip customer service, zero humanity and rubs their hands with glee when unaccompanied children enter. Cash converters you may want to have a word with 'David' your Banbury Manager - either a medal for your outrageous processes or fire him for gross misconduct in refusing to provide escalation
UPDATE 21/03 Cash Converters Area Director has apologised profusely for the fashion in which we were treated after viewing the CCTV footage. 'David' was not the store manager (quelle surprise!), is being sanctioned and sent on a training class to improve his manner. We have been offered a full refund by the real shop manager. A disastrous situation completely turned effectually past Cash Converters. Thanks. Upgraded review from 1 to 3 stars

Bought an iPad from their online shop, the store responsible to deliver the iPad was Stockport. Its been almost a week since I've ordered and I've received aught at all, I've sent the shop 3 emails which they haven't responded to asking to let me know if it's been despatched and provide a tracking number, all my emails have been completely ignored and I have no clue every bit to what'due south going on.
This is getting really frustrating and I'1000 certain the reason I'm being ignored is because the store have been too lazy to send something out when they had a whole week to practise and so!

Sold held detail less than an hour after agreement
I contacted the store and asked for a lower price on a monitor and they responded that they would not drop the cost. I responded asking them if they'd hold information technology for me if I offer full price and they said they hold it through the end of the day today for me. I agreed and asked for the address. When I responded asking a question they said they sold it. This is just poor business. Don't tell me you'll concur information technology for me and then sell to someone else.

I went into the Staines branch today and was served by Zac, the about helpful pleasant swain ! I had some gold to sell , the process was easy , quick and Zac explained from the offset what was involved. I left the shop after xv-20 minutes and volition definitely render should I need as well. Wakefield branch Simply went in the store to place my smartphone on buypack due to financial difficulties and they gave me a brilliant price as per usual and I needed a cheap tablet to fill up the void not having my phone left as YouTube etc is my life ...sad I know . Anyhow I told Steve I needed a cheap tablet to go me by till I tin recollect my phone... He understood my fiscal situation and didn't try to up sell me and even advised me the cheaper option than the 1 I was looking at would be much amend suited although told me it could be slow which I was prepared for anyway with the toll range...got it home and impressed is an understatement it is brilliant and is well fast. Great staff great prices a amazing service to the local area. You guys help people get past in times of need and don't accept reward with prices. A Strange Idea of what Customer Service Looks Similar..
Cash Converters Newcastle Upon Tyne.
I bought via their website a guitar effects pedal advertised as being complete with Ability supply. Arrived quickly but missing power supply. I had to ring the store, who couldn't really have been less bothered and certainly weren't minded to offer any sort of apology. I had to chase them once again some days later (still no apology...) and got the same vague assurances that the PSU was on it'south way. Information technology finally arrived a week after (sent 2nd form post)...It's not the original power supply and is held together with mucilage and insulation tape...Not exactly Customer Focused is it...? I was considering simply sending the pedal back but it would have price me money to accept done business with them... (I'd accept to pay return postage.)
